Being a science teacher in Bayside, my life was always filled with the thrill of discovery. But one lab experiment goes awry, and my life changes dramatically. From the moment of the accident, I find myself privy to invisible, mischievous entities that exist in a spectrum beyond normal human vision.
As the days pass, my eyesight worsens, the invisible entities become more disruptive, causing chaos in my classroom, my home, and even on the streets of Bayside. Desperate to regain control, I start researching about the best optometrist close to Brighton, hoping to find some respite for my worsening condition.
I eventually come across an optometrist’s clinic that appears out of nowhere. Walking in, the air feels different, like it’s charged with some form of benevolent magic. The optometrist there is kind and understanding. After hearing my story, she promises to help me manage my unique situation.
She provides me with a pair of special glasses. These glasses don’t just correct my vision, but they’re able to limit my sight to the normal spectrum when worn. It’s an immediate relief, bringing normalcy back into my life. But there’s more. The glasses also retain my ability to see the mischievous entities when I choose.
Being able to control this unusual sight gives me a new sense of balance. The creatures, seeing that I’m no longer a victim of their mischief, become less disruptive. I’m now able to resume my life as a science teacher. Still, I keep the glasses on, ready to suggest a kids’ eye test anytime one of my students seems to be troubled by an invisible prankster.
This strange chapter in my life, despite its initial challenges, turns out to be a unique journey of discovery. After all, it’s not every day one gets to peer into the hidden corners of the world, and I have the mysterious Bayside optometry clinic to thank for that.
